Perenco DRC and Congorep were also pleased to welcome Franck Poli, Africa Regional Manager and Larry Botomley, Vice President Exploration at the event.  Larry Bottomley delivered a presentation on "investment in mature asset development to fund growth through Exploration", which is at  the heart of Perenco's strategy.

Due to the 27th Ordinary Session of the APPA Council of Ministers which was held in Kinshasa shortly before the event, CAPE IV delegates included senior figures from the sixteen petroleum producing members of APPA : Algeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon, Congo, Congo DRC, Cote d'Ivoire, Egypt, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Libya, Mauritania, Nigeria, South Africa, Soudan and Tchad.

The event saw 400 upstream and downstream industry professionals exchange views and debate the challenges facing the oil & gas industry in Africa, including legislation and control, promotion of the gas industry, joint development zones and investment perspectives.  Perenco was pleased  to be able to highlight the group's commitment to strengthening its operations in Africa in front of the sector's main political, economic and institutional decision makers of Africa.
