The SS-25 rig has completed a two years drilling campaign of infill pilot drilling in Liawenda targeting turonian reservoir with a 150m between wells seven spot inverted pattern in 3 zones.
28 wells have been drilled for production, 10 wells ex-producers have been converted to injectors to enhance the reserves recovery and reduce the heterogeneity impact to the production. A 30,000 barrels of water injected per day project in surface is being developed for delivery in Q1 2010.
Liawenda Turonian reservoir is holding the biggest DRC crude oil reserves so far with 22 Millions barrel of proved producing barrels.
