Muanda's Airport Runway

On May 6th 2009, the President of the Republic, Joseph Kabila Kabange, launched the start of the renovation of  Muanda Coastal City Airport.

Of the estimated $US 3.8 million project cost, $US 2.5 million will be funded by Perenco. Perenco's involvement in the repair of the airport is in response to a direct call from the president for international intervention in his chosen "five works" programme (Water, Power, Infrastructure, Health and Employment).

Perenco is proud to participate in the DRC's ongoing development and reconstruction work.
